As a parent I could not be more grateful for the impact Dr. Williams has had on my 14 year old son Roman. Roman is autistic, but high functioning enough to be fully integrated into a typical classroom with his peers. However, he has his learning challenges and Dr. Williams has proven to not only be an effective teacher, but also transformative! Her teaching style is engaging, personalized, and she takes the time to work with each student to ensure the books and assignments are understood. Before Dr. Williams came along, Roman struggled with reading, comprehension, and he lacked confidence in his writing skills. With her patience, thoughtfully structured lessons, and her focus on bringing forth each student’s critical thinking skills and creativity, Roman has excelled in English class.
